Practicing Wellbeing Workshop for Caregivers

Practicing Wellbeing
 for Caregivers

Caregiving for a loved one can be an especially challenging role, emotionally and physically. Too often, lack of support for the caregiver can deplete wellbeing and lead to exhaustion, frustration, resentment or burn-out.

This workshop will explore the meaning/experience of wellbeing and how we can increase wellbeing in our everyday lives. Even when we are going through challenging or difficult times, we have choices that can add to our wellbeing. During our time together, we will focus on:

  • noticing what adds to – and subtracts from – our wellbeing
  • making conscious choices that add to our wellbeing
  • treating ourselves with unconditional loving kindness
  • music as an easily accessible source of wellbeing
