This new position offers the chance to manage all aspects of our operations, from finances and IT to quality control. In this role you will also have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience related to all aspects of nonprofit management as well as exposure to high-level strategic planning.

Youth & Family Services Program Coordinator (Full Time) (8/15/24)
As the Youth & Family Services Program Coordinator at Kara, you'll be a vital member of our program team supporting grieving youth and their families. Under the guidance of the Youth & Family Services Director, you'll provide exceptional and timely administrative and operational support for our client services, including peer support groups, Camp Kara, trainings, workshops, and volunteer support. In addition, as the coordinator for the Journeys Program, our school-based grief support initiative, your responsibilities will include actively fostering and maintaining positive relationships with schools and key stakeholders, providing valuable resources and training to school staff, and co-facilitating peer support groups. Development & Communications Associate(7/17/23)
The Development & Communications Associate is an important member of Kara’s development team which focuses on growing our contributed income to empower our service model of offering comprehensive grief support services for our community. Reporting to the Development Director, the Associate works to ensure effective fundraising, donor data management, gift reporting, and agency communications. This full time position is responsible for maintaining the donor database systems, supporting annual fundraising campaigns and events, and implementing social media and online communications. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in writing, database management, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail.
