Youth & Family Services Program Assistant Director (10/1/23) In this position, you will work to ensure efficient and effective operational, technical, and administrative support for all existing Youth and Family Service programs including client consultations, peer grief groups, workshops, Journeys Program, and volunteer coordination and engagement. With the goal of delivering high-quality accessible bereavement services to children, teens and families, this role interfaces regularly with clients and volunteers, and collaborates with other Kara programs, schools, and community partners. This position is also responsible for managing all efforts related to the planning and implementation of Kara’s annual weekend Youth Grief Camp (Camp Kara). A successful candidate will be flexible in both schedule and mind-set and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, outstanding organization skills, strong leadership abilities, and enjoy working in a dynamic organization in compassionate support of clients and volunteers.Click Here to Read Full Job Description and Application Instructions
