Drop-In Peer Support Group for Adults 2026

Offered on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 1pm. This "drop-in" General Loss Grief Support Group is designed for anyone who has had a significant person in their life die.

The group provides a safe and supportive environment for those recently bereaved to share their experiences and feelings as well as learn about the grieving process. The group utilizes facilitated conversation to help group members process their grief in the present moment and is led by trained peer support volunteers and Kara staff.

This group will meet in person at Kara (457 Kingsley Avenue, Palo Alto, 94301).

The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:30 PM during the timeframe listed below.
