Peer Support Group for Men
Designed for men who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives.
This support group provides a safe and a supportive environment for participants to share their experiences and feelings as well as learn about the grieving process. The group is facilitated by trained peer support volunteers and Kara staff.
This group will meet in person at Kara (457 Kingsley Avenue, Palo Alto, 94301). Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, all participants must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination or provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of each group meeting date.
The group will meet on Thursdays from 7- 8:30 PM during the timeframe listed below.
THURSDAY EVENINGS for TEN SESSIONS*
July 28 through October 6th
No Meeting on September 22nd
*Must be able to attend at least 7 sessions.
An initial interview is required before enrolling in the group.
