Trainings & Debriefings
Kara offers customized trainings as well as debriefings for those who respond to critical incidents and emergencies.
Peer Grief Support
First Responders may benefit from peer grief support in a one-on-one or group format. Our peer services offer emotional support to those grieving a death and our model is based on mutual respect, empathy, positive regard, non-judgmental behavior, genuineness, acceptance of differences, and intention to be of service. Grief Therapy
While our peer support model is appropriate for many, some individuals have circumstances that complicate their grief work, such as multiple losses or stress reactions due to traumatic circumstances. These individuals may benefit from therapy rather than or in addition to Kara's peer support services. Learn More
As a police officer we often see the loss, tragedy and grief that people go through. It’s so important to have an organization like Kara that wants to get involved and help our community in this way.
