Collaborating closely with our dedicated team and leadership, the Operations & Finance Manager will oversee and coordinate our financial and operational systems, ensuring everything functions efficiently. This new position offers the chance to manage all aspects of our operations, from finances and IT to quality control. In this role you will also have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience related to all aspects of nonprofit management as well as exposure to high-level strategic planning.

Youth & Family Services Program Assistant Director Hidden(10/1/23)
In this position, you will work to ensure efficient and effective operational, technical, and administrative support for all existing Youth and Family Service programs including client consultations, peer grief groups, workshops, Journeys Program, and volunteer coordination and engagement. With the goal of delivering high-quality accessible bereavement services to children, teens and families, this role interfaces regularly with clients and volunteers, and collaborates with other Kara programs, schools, and community partners. This position is also responsible for managing all efforts related to the planning and implementation of Kara’s annual weekend Youth Grief Camp (Camp Kara). Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk - hidden (7/20/23)
Kara is seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping while maintaining our accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Your primary focus will be on bill payments and recording receipts using the QuickBooks Online accounting platform.

Development & Communications Associate(7/17/23)
The Development & Communications Associate is an important member of Kara’s development team which focuses on growing our contributed income to empower our service model of offering comprehensive grief support services for our community. Reporting to the Development Director, the Associate works to ensure effective fundraising, donor data management, gift reporting, and agency communications. This full time position is responsible for maintaining the donor database systems, supporting annual fundraising campaigns and events, and implementing social media and online communications. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in writing, database management, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail.
