Mother’s Day is Sunday May 12th.  For many people, this day is a celebratory occasion to honor mothers by spending time with family, gifting presents, and sharing stories. For others, Mother’s Day can be a difficult holiday to celebrate. Individuals who have experienced the death of their mother (or mother-like figure), child, a neonatal death, a miscarriage, or infertility may be confronting feelings of loss instead.
