MEADOWLARK FATHERS’ GRIEF RETREAT
A Weekend for Fathers Grieving the Loss of a Child
October 28-29-30, 2016      Sebastopol, CA

As a program of the Tim Griffith Foundation, this unique weekend retreat is designed specifically for fathers who have suffered the death of a child.  It provides participants a safe place to share their stories, experiences, emotions, and learned wisdom with other bereaved dads. It offers an opportunity for healing, respite, compassion, support and community with other fathers on a similar journey.

I’ve just attended the first Retreat for Grieving Fathers a few weeks ago and it was transformational, supportive, difficult, challenging and spiritual – all at the same time. Finding peers who were willing to discuss the depths of the sorrow and grief encountered in the loss of a child, and finding so much common ground in the methods and mechanisms we tried successfully and unsuccessfully to make sense of it all was invaluable. ~ Retreat Father

The retreat is professionally facilitated by Kara grief support counselors, with help from Foundation staff and volunteers attending to meals.

Interested fathers should contact Stacey Redman (Founder & President, Tim Griffith Foundation).
Please provide name and telephone number to:

Participant Cost for Weekend Retreat: $450**

Meadowlark was conceived by two mothers and a few dear friends and created to give grieving parents a place to share their stories and feelings with others who have been through the same kind of loss.  Meadowlark Retreats are presented by the Tim Griffith Foundation.
